Entry Requirements
All students must have a minimum of 6 GCSE passes graded at 9-5 (including English and mathematics), in addition to the course specific entry requirements detailed below and in our prospectus.
Students who choose to study A levels will be placed on to the linear 2-year course. Progression to Year 13 will be dependent on satisfactory achievement in Year 12 internal examinations. Students who are seen to be at risk of dropping an A level course before completion will be entered for the AS level exams where possible.
Students who choose to study a vocational course (Applied Science, Business, Health and Social Care, Sport) will initially study for the Level 3 Certificate in that subject, progressing on to study the Level 3 Extended Certificate in Year 13 if achievement in Year 12 is satisfactory.
Curriculum
Our offer of subjects is a mixture of academic and vocational subjects that can be taken in many combinations to set students on the path towards their desired career. The majority of students will study 3 courses.
All courses are taught for 5 lessons per week, with students expected to put a similar amount of time into independent study per subject per week.

How to Apply
Application forms can be found using this link.
This should be returned to the 6th Form, by the deadline stated on the form.
Following an application, students will receive an invitation to interview. The purpose of this is for us to learn a little bit more about you – what you enjoy, why you want to study in the 6th Form and what your aspirations are for the future – so that we can ensure that you are on the right pathway for success.
If you are an external student, applying from another school or academy, please ensure that you provide accurate predictions for your grades at GCSE when making your application.
All of our prospective students will have the opportunity to discuss their options and tailor their own bespoke programme of study.
