Programme of Study
The courses you choose should be based on a combination of where your strengths are, what you enjoy and, of course, your future aspirations. As part of the 6th Form application process you will be provided with personalised support meetings to ensure that you are commencing on the correct curriculum pathway.
When students have finalised their subject choices we then organise subjects into option blocks in order to facilitate student choices. All students are expected to study a minimum of three subjects. In some cases, students may be permitted to study four subjects through agreement with the Head of 6th Form.
Work Shadowing/Work Experience
Participation in work shadowing and work experience is mandatory for all students. These opportunities are scheduled as part of the 6th Form calendar of events, however, some students engage in such activity on a weekly basis throughout Year 12 and Year13 through agreement with the Head of 6Th Form.
