YEAR 9 OPTIONS EVENING - WEDNESDAY 18 MARCH 2026

Dear Parent/Carer 

I am writing to remind you that the Year 9 Options Evening for parents / carers and students at South Axholme Academy takes place on Wednesday 18 March 2026, between 5.00pm - 6.30pm. 

 

Options evening is an extremely important event.  Following individual discussions with staff during parents’ evening on Thursday 12 March 2026, you will now have the opportunity to discover more information about the subjects on offer at Key Stage 4 (Years 10 and 11). 

 

The event will include a formal talk in the main hall to introduce the options process to parents / carers and students. These talks will take place at 5.00 pm and 5.30 pm. You will then be able to explore the option subjects by visiting the subject stalls in the academy gym, where you will be able to look at displays and ask teachers about the subjects available to your child at Key Stage 4. 

 

We hope this opportunity will help further support your child with making informed decisions regarding their Key Stage 4 options. 

 

Students should attend in their academy uniform.  We look forward to seeing you and your child on Wednesday 18 March 2026.
