We are delighted to be partnered with two experienced industry professionals who support the development of our careers programme:

• Jason Boasman – Site Development and Operations Manager (Highways and Transportation), Leeds City Council
• Graeme Duffy – Project Manager, Ørsted

Our Enterprise Advisors work closely with the academy to strengthen our careers provision and ensure it reflects the needs of the modern workplace.

An Enterprise Advisor works directly with a school to help develop and enhance its careers programme. They support the planning and delivery of careers-related activities and contribute to events that take place throughout the academic year, offering valuable insight into industry and employment pathways.

Through this partnership, our students benefit from real-world experience, employer engagement and a greater understanding of the opportunities available to them in the future.

 

What is LMI?

Labour Market Information (LMI) helps students and families understand the world of work. It provides information about:

• Job opportunities and employment trends
• Growing and declining industries
• Skills and qualifications required for different careers
• Salary expectations and progression routes

Why is LMI Important?

Using LMI enables students to:

• Make informed decisions about GCSE options and future pathways
• Understand which careers are in demand
